The 2010 Academy's Hottest Men!!

Oscar isn't the only hunky gold man we've all got our eyes on. It's his best hollywood men I've got my eye on too! Has the Academy Awards red carpet ever look so good? Just for your viewing pleasure, I've narrowed down the hottest men on the red carpet (including Oscar).

Let's start with my main man, Ryan Reynolds. I like to call him "Sexy Body". True Story.

Here, in a Tom Ford Tuxedo, my little nickname for him holds truth.

Next up, Jake Gyllenhaal! His sister Maggie was up for 'Best Supporting Actress' so it was only fitting he was there to show his support and boy, am I glad he did!! He could have walked that red carpet in rotation and I wouldn't have got sick looking at him!! Jake wore a custom-tailored Burberry tuxedo that I'm sure made Reese cringe with regret! What was she thinking?

How about a little bit of some Gerard Butler? Here we have Gerard in a custom Gucci tuxedo with a black satin tie. Stylish & sexy. What more could you ask for?

And now for an oldie but goodie!! Javier Bardem! Yeah, he's a little older... but I can't seem to shake how handsom he is! Love that scrumfy look! It screams SEXY! I absolutely fell in love with him in Vicky Christina Barcelona. He gives off such a passionate vibe, I can only imagine how vivacious his relationship is with Penelope Cruz (love her)! Anyway, here we have the steamy, spanish actor in head-to-toe Gucci.

Let's go for a classic now shall we? Matt Damon. Who can get tired of this guy? Not me! He may have lost the award tonight, but he wins a spot on my 2010 Academey's hottest! Look at this charmer!! He kept it classic and hott in head-to-toe Ferragamo at the Oscars and I loved every moment! How did such a plain jane score him?

Shall we swoon over the next hottie to hit the red carpet at the 2010 Oscar's?! Chris Pine!! Never mind the fact that he had a little fling with reality startlet Audrina Patridge, this is a boy toy I want to see on the red carpet more often!! I am gaga for those blue eyes and adorable smile! The Star Trek star kills us slowly in this slim, black Ralph Lauren Purple Label Tuxedo, Ferragamo shoes and Neil Lane diamond shirt studs. Dapper if you ask me!!

Another favorite of mine, Robert Downey Jr! He's done a completely 180 with his career and it seems his looks have followed! Can we say HOTT? I'm pretty sure Sarah Jessica Parker would agree with me on this one. After all, she was with him for like 8 years! Oh, and have you seen him in Iron Man?! Yeah, check that one out and come back and tell me you dont think he is one sexy man! Always suave, stylish and clever....here we have Robert Downey Jr. in a blue Lanvin tuxedo, Brand sneakers, blue-tinted shades and a turquoise silk bow-tie. 

 

Okay, next up...I got someone MAYJAH to Hollywood, fashion, my eyes and wallet! Tom Ford!! Designer turned director? Not too shabby if you ask me! Here we have Tom Ford in himself of course!! I like a man who knows his stuff!!

We can't forget George Clooney!! Hollywood's biggest bachelor, it seems every girl gets a chance with this one! Always deliish and dashing, here we have George in a Giorgio Armani tux, white pique shirt and black satin bow tie. (If you care, his italian girlfriend Elisabetta Canalis is wearing Roberto Cavalli. Aggh.) 

Last but not least, Oscar. Oh, Oscar! You leave the lead and supporting actress's dreaming about you days before and after the Academy Awards. Your affair with Hollywood's elite should be shamefull, but they all still want you. Your built, made of gold with a firm body and you don't talk. We'll, your just every girls dream. Here we have Oscar in, well...nothing. Just the way we like him!

Show Some Pride For The Lake Show!

Forever 21 Banded Bank Tank - $13.80

At last! Some official licensed Laker apparel, exclusive to Forever 21! I'm 50/50 on the whole thing. I'm excited about the official licensed products to be ticketed at forever 21 prices but now I gotta swallow the fact that I'll be seeing a nice group of wanna basketball fanatics rocking Laker tanks! Grrr. You won't see too many of them now, but come the time Lakers make it to the NBA Finals, these girls will be at a local, trendy bar near you. This, I promise. I'll get over it though. This is nothing new. Anyway, back to the reasonably priced, fitted Laker tanks!! Forever 21 made it happen and I couldn't be happier with the end results! If your a true NBA glam gal, you'll know that most officially licensed sports apparel for womenwill always come short and wide. Nothing that could possibly flatter any body type. Fear the short and wide Laker tanks no more ladies! Forever 21 is to the rescue! Ahhh, time to show my Lake Show pride!! But the choices!! They had 3 different tanks to choose from and 2 caught my eye! The yellow one (pictured above), and the purple one below. I'm leaning towards the purple one! Agreed? With both tankls priced at under $20 bucks each, I might as well take both! Problem solved, I'm closing the book on this one!

Nicole Richie Engagement Ring!!

With my nice and busy schedule the past 3 weeks, I've had little time to devote to Dulce Luxe. It's my baby, and if I'm going to do it right, it's gotta be perfect! No half-done blog posts here my dears! I have so much catching up to do and I wanted to do it big!! Like I've famously and repeatedly told my fabulous grandma (think, a MUCH younger Elizabeth Taylor in her golden prime) "Go big or Go Home!". She lives by that quote 'till this day and make's sure everyone knows who she got it from....mwaaahh!

Anyway, back to doing it big. Shall we start with Nicole Richie's engagement ring? Another style icon of mine, Nicole never fails when it comes to her timeless style! Whether she's dressed up or down, it always leaves me in awe and shop ready! So how about this ring ladies? FABULOUS! Just days after the news of Nicole Richie's engagement to Joel Madden broke, details have been flying around on the much anticipated wedding. Word on the street is she's shopping for her wedding dress at Fashion Week and Marchesa wants first dibs! It's only fitting! I'd LOOOOVE to see Marchesa design her dress! You can do no wrong with Marchesa! Well, you can also do no wrong with a 4-carat, handmade, round cut diamond ring, crafted by celebrity jeweler Neil Lane. I like to call myself a "Wedding Ring Enthusiast"! I'll school you on the size, cut, shape, color and clarity of your ring, any day. You can only imagine the standards I've set for my own. It's no wonder it has yet to grace my hand! No worries, the bf is on it. Wheew! That said, this 'Wedding Ring Enthusiast' gives a BIG two thumbs and stamp of approval on this celebrity engagement ring! Nicole, you did good!! As always.....

Victoria Beckham on the March Cover of Glamour Magazine!

One of my favorite style icons, Victoria Beckham graces the cover of Glamour's March issue and I couldn't be more excited! This is by far, one of my favorite editorial shoots of Victoria B. In Glamour's March issue she takes it down a couple of notches and makes the whole 'relaxed and casual' look very posh! Looking through all the photos from the shoot, she made me want to clean my apartment with heels on and rollers in my hair. She just made it look soo dammn good! Rachel Bilson in Elizabeth and James Black Sendi Wedges

I have a feeling that if I hung out with celebs....she would be one of my besties! Along with Rachel Zoe, Nicole Richie and Victoria Beckham of course. Then I'd merge my celeb friends with my real ones and it would be just fantastic!! Imagine the damage we'd do?!

It's a business doing pleasure

I made it a movie night on Sunday and picked up Ashton Kutchers flick, 'Spread'. It's a sex comedy centered on a serial womanizer and his jilted lover. It's set in L.A. with an iconic look at the lure of sex, money, and access that Hollywood offers. I was shockingly surprised on how intriguing I found it to be. I'm an L.A. kid at heart, grew up in the city and worked the doors of Hollywood's elite scene before I was 21, so I've been around long enough to know a good L.A. kind of film when I see one. People usually go a little over board when trying to perfect the whole L.A. and Hollywood scene in a film. I'm no film major, but Spread was just right! I had been holding out on renting it for a while too. But with a 'Free Rental' promo code from the $1 'RedBox' (don't you love those?), I drove to my nearest rental station, picked up the flick and what a suprise! I ended up actually loving it. Even my movie critic (or so he thinks!) boyfriend was happy with the end result of the film. Anyway, I didn't even come here to ramble on about the movie. After watching the movie, I coincidently came across a photo of Demi Moore dressed strikingly similar to her boy toy husband, Ashton Kutcher in Spread. Hmm...maybe she was just as intrigued as I was?
